Over the course of the EOTO technology presentations, I found the Hulu one interesting given the fact that I use Hulu almost everyday. I didn't realize that Hulu was created in 2008 because I just found out about this streaming device a few years ago. Hulu is a great streaming system for t.v. shows because it has a bigger variety of choices than other streaming networks like Netflix. A great thing that was pointed out in the presentation was that Hulu offers entire seasons of shows not just a few episodes. Meaning that you can just sit and watch the entire season in the time span you want too, and do not have to wait for new episodes to stream. However, one of the minor downfalls with Hulu is that you cannot download movies or tv shows to watch offline like Netflix has. So a subscriber has to be connected to Wi-Fi to be able to stream a video of their choice. But, Hulu is a great technology that was created because many subscribers can upgrade to  Hulu Plus which gives a bigger selection of movies and tv shows to these subscribers than regular ones; along with creating a commercial free plan too. Overall, Hulu is an extremely popular streaming application that allows millions of users to watch their favorite movies and tv shows that are unavailable on other streaming devices.
