Propaganda is one of the biggest ways to promote one side of the story to sway people's opinions in the advertiser's point of view. In the presentation, it was stated that propaganda was most widely used during war time because it was the easiest way to gain supporters on one side compared to the other. There would be posters all throughout the community that would draw people's attention with the different sayings and pictures on them. Like these two images below and how they were extremely effective during their time.

       



Propaganda is famously known for the creativity within the posters and different types of communication that was used. People would use creative tactics to their advantage because it would allow the given audience to think for themselves in a specific manner. This allowed people to be heavily influenced by specific posters and tended to feel more emotion behind the propaganda. The words that are used throughout propaganda messages are seen to be symbolic and appeals to the audience's interests. The main use of propaganda is to persuade people's opinions in favor of a certain idea or event to gain public interest. It is mainly used within the political realm to win the majority vote and convince people how a certain party is the best choice. As mentioned before, it was popularly used during war time and has drastically changed over time. Current day propaganda is much different than war time propaganda. According to a website referring to modern day propaganda, it isn't so much political propaganda we see today, it is more about promoting a company or a business. Companies use propaganda to persuade customers that their product is the best compared to others. Overall, propaganda is an extremely popular form of biased information to gain support and public opinion on one side compared to the other, and can be seen different today compared to the past.
